After more than 40 years of dedication to the Clear Creek District, the railroad was scrapped in 1941. However, tourism would revitalize the area, and in the years to come a group of enthusiasts began to rebuild a portion of the old right of way. I bought this book for a Christmas gift for my train buff husband. It is part of a series with great photos and history about period railways that's interesting and beautiful.
